David Merrill

David founded C&H Merrill, Inc in 1991. He has engineered and/or supervised the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing designs of more than 3000 separate projects, including commercial office buildings, churches, retail spaces, medical facilities, industrial facilities, IT rooms, machine shops, production facilities, theme park attraction facilities, restaurants and bars, aircraft hangers and storage/warehouse facilities.
Dave served 23 years in the military, both as enlisted and as an officer in United States Army active duty and later as an officer in the National Guard and Reserve. David received an Army ROTC Scholarship at Seattle University to study Mechanical Engineering. He graduated as Distinguished Military Graduate in 1990.
Additionally, Dave has designed many custom machines. From our unique Self Leveling Wheelchair Lifts to Rotating & Actuating Gangways for ship to shore access to Testing Equipment for the US Navy to ultra-deep water enclosures for Schlumberger, his ability to think outside the box & find the perfect solution for our clients has allowed us to be on the cutting edge of machine design & machine design-build.
