The “Swing Bridge” has reached 90% design!
The C&H Merrill team has diligently brought the design for our 80’ movable walkway to the 90% design milestone. In only a handful of short months C&H Merrill has developed a solution for our client, a major amusement park in the Orlando area, to increase the convenience of their guests. The walkway will allow resort patrons to travel by foot from their accommodations to the main entrance of the amusement park. Currently the trip can only be accomplished by returning to the park transportation hub and riding a ferry boat or monorail train to the amusement park main entrance.

Good news! In March 2017, we, along with http://www.allwireselectrical.com took a trip to Panama City Beach, Florida to troubleshoot the testing positioner for the US Navy. Although we spent some time scratching their heads, our team pulled through, and the project was a great success! In just short of 24 hours, the error was corrected, the test positioner was back up and running properly, and our team was headed back home to celebrate the success. Needless to say, everyone involved was satisfied with the time, quality and resourceful problem-solving abilities on this project! Best wishes Panama City Beach!
Welcome to our new website!
It has been an exciting year for us at C&H Merrill! We brought in 2017 conquering many major projects:
A full MEP design for the 30,000 SQ FT Coastline Community Church located in Melbourne, several Design-Build projects for many of Florida’s major Orlando theme parks, as well as a Machine Design project out of Cape Canaveral, Florida.
In addition to that, our team, once again completed nearly 150 MEP projects for such clients as Video Display Corporation, US Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Embraer, a couple of our major Florida theme parks, and many architects & general contractors. We have worked on condos, churches, offices, industrial spaces, restaurants, retail spaces, medical facilities, hotels, bars, theme parks, custom homes, daycares, car dealerships, airports… everything, it seems, except dog houses or spaceships (and I still hold out hope for both).
I’m often surprised by the technical ability and extreme level of detail that our engineers hold. Maybe that’s because it’s something I’ve never had… but being surrounded by engineers daily, I’ve come to learn they are unquestionably part detective as well! They live in a constant state of learning. That’s that part I like most!
